We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Marketing Manager EMEA who will act as the brand champion and steward for the region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Branding, how to develop cohesive Communication, and be an expert in the Digital field for EMEA.
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the EMEA marketing team and work in close collaboration with the Innovation, R&D, Trade and Sales Directors and their respective teams.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will develop, lead, and inspire the EMEA region’s overall business to achieve the organisation’s targets and objectives, while ensuring brand positioning is relevant and adapted to local needs. You will influence customer and consumer brand preference (B2B2C) to build and capitalise on market leading positioning to maximise revenue and profitability, ensure effective marketing support of local and group commercial initiatives. A strong sensitivity and experience for CSR, a key pillar of MONIN’s strategy, is essential for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy Development
- Define and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies for the EMEA region that align with global objectives, consider local market nuances, and effectively elevate and differentiate MONIN
- Ensure MONIN pillars of Branding, Communication, and Digital are built upon with purpose and communicated effectively throughout EMEA markets
- Lead market research to uncover consumer insights to leverage across the region
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines, and ensure consistency in messaging across markets
- Manage the brand marketing budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve maximum ROI
- Cooperate with Innovation leads to ensure new launches comply with marketing plans, and to be the voice of marketing within development sessions
Compelling Brand Communication
- Develop powerful brand messaging that strengthens brand equity and that resonates with diverse audiences across the region
- Co-manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns with local markets, and recommend opportunities for growth based upon learnings throughout the campaigns
- Development of adaptable creative assets which balance our brand positioning and local market needs
- Ensure key stakeholders in the EMEA organisation are informed on brand tone of voice, strategy and creative guidelines
- Oversee brand planning calendar, determining the timing of brand communications in order to meet KPI targets
Digital Marketing Leadership
- Drive the digital marketing strategy leveraging social media, content marketing, and SEO to enhance brand visibility
- Monitor digital trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to optimise digital performance and share identified opportunities
- Partner with local marketing teams and ensure consistent application of EMEA digital marketing practices for deeper brand engagement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of brand marketing initiatives, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management
Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Lead, and coach the EMEA Brand Marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Develop a high performing team that improves performance and strengthens marketing processes and methodologies
- Build strong relationships with local market teams to ensure alignment with regional strategies
- Tightly collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Innovation, Trade Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, agency partners, and local importers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Ensure high quality reporting co-constructed with the EMEA marketing team to be shared with Senior Leadership, Trade, and Sales teams
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years marketing experience, ideally within the food & beverage industry
- Experience in the EMEA region, with knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behaviour
- Proven record of developing brand communication, and delivering customer-driven change
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- B2B experience with high level of commerciality
- People management experience
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in managing budgets and marketing expenses
- Truly bilingual profile (English-French). English is a must.
This working role is based in Paris with regular travel to the MONIN headquarters in Bourges.
Occasional international travel to visit markets and to meet customers is necessary.
French employment contract. 214 days worked per year.
